Examining Toxic Leadership Nexus With Employee Cyberloafing Behavior via Mediating Role of Emotional Exhaustion

From the perspective of social exchange and conservation resources theories, current study investigated effect toxic leadership on employee cyberloafing behaviour via mediating role emotional exhaustion moderating organisational commitment. SPSS models 1:moderation, 4: mediation, 14: moderation mediation PROCESS Hayes were used to evaluate data from 357 employees Chinese corporate sector. The results show a positive relation between cyberloafing, mediates this relationship. Further, organisation commitment moderates indirect, interactive cyberloafing. model was tested using 3-wave data; however, since attained single source, problem common method bias cannot be ruled out. To avoid or lessen instances encourage good working attitudes, organisations must also take action develop regulations governing internet use in workplace.
